Our largest room, the Winter Room has a queen-sized bed, two closets, a ceiling fan and looks out on the front lawn, shaded by giant old maple trees. It is about 17′ square and beautifully decorated.
The room has a small dining table and chairs, two armchairs, three dressers and a desk and chair as well. A favorite of Hill Cumorah Pageant guests and participants, it is often reserved as much as a year in advance for the Pageant season.
This is the original Master Bedroom of the Beckwith Mansion. This would have been George and Ruth Beckwith’s bedroom in the 1830s. Stay in a room that has some history.
Note: None of the bedroom fireplaces are usable. Due to the age of the house, many of the fireplaces have been used for wiring, plumbing and other modern retrofits. All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. Guest must be able to ascend/descend stairs.
