I decided to visit Frys Electronics. That can create serious damage to one’s bank account. I managed to keep my spending under $50.
I purchased an 8 port gigabit hub for under $10. Next, I found laptop cable locks for only $4. My final purchase was a $25 inverter that is perfect for the Route 66 trip.
Mt. Diablo was my next stop, but only after stopping to see if Jim Fidelibus was at his studio. Forgot they are closed on Monday.
It is a beautiful day for a drive up Mt. Diablo. It was crazy thought. I was on the brakes the entire time to keep it under the speed limit, yet, bicycles were buzzing by doing 40mph and more. As a result, I was passed by many cyclist.
Fenton’s Ice Cream
Amber, Jason and girls met me at Fenton’s. We were joined by Katrina, an old friend from the Bay Area. I wanted Amber to take a picture of Katrina and me, but for some reason, she kept focusing on the background, and not us. It was comical. Finally, she got a good one (I put the camera in manual focus, zone focused and let her shoot.)
This new Fenton’s is at the old Nut Tree. They have redeveloped the old Nut Tree and it is very nice.
The old Nut Tree Playground has also been fixed up. Payton LOVES the little marry-go-round.
The look on her face is precious. She liked it more than she liked the ice cream.
