Breakfast Pizzas

Before I tell how to make these, there are two types of pizza recipes here.  The first is a savory pizza that has protein where the second is a sweet pastry dish.

Savory Breakfast Pizza

Pizza (yeast-based) dough
1 pound grated cheese
1 cup pizza sauce or red catsup or green catsup
1 dozen eggs, scrambled
1 pound bacon, chopped and cooked
1 pound sausage, cooked and chopped
1 onion diced and caramelized

spread the dough out on a pizza pan or large cookie sheet
let rise, and then poke holes in crust
cover with sauce
sprinkle cheese evenly
bake at 400 until cheese melts
add eggs, bacon, sausage and onions
return to oven to complete baking
serves 10-12 people

Pastry Breakfast Pizza

mix pancake mix a little thicker than normal, and spread it evenly, about 1/4″ deep, on a large cookie sheet
grate about 1/2 pound of white chocolate, and cover dough evenly
arrange canned fruit (spiced apple rings, cooked cherries, sliced peaches, etc.)
drizzle the following over the fruit:
1 cup sour cream
1 cup powdered sugar
1 egg
mixed well
place in a 350 oven, and bake about 45 minutes, or until the custard mixture is cooked
serves 10-12 people
