Canal Connection Rocks
The Canal Connection rocks! (The Canal Connection Chamber of Commerce – Palmyra, Macedon and Walworth and surrounding areas’ Chamber of Commerce.) Tonight we held our annual Christmas Dinner. It was nice.
The evening started with a brief overview of the Chamber’s accomplishments and activities in 2017. That was followed by a few remarks from our State Senator Pam Helming.
Dinner was nice. The “grazing stations” had salad, steamed vegetables, a pasta station, and chicken French.
At the end of the event we had a 50/50 drawing and distributed the silent auction winnings. Consequently, we did not win the drawing. Therefore, I consider it a donation to the chamber.
By the way, you do not have to be a Chamber of Commerce member to attend our annual dinner! In addition, It’s a nice time to meet business owners and enjoy a nice meal.
Elizabethe and I met with the Macedon Public Library Director regarding teaching classes next year. Elizabethe will teach a basic computer skill classes. I will teach a class about getting started with WordPress.
My class will be in April. Elizabethe’s classes start in January. As a result, we’ll both be busy.
Black and White
I’ve been working in black and white today. There is something about black and white.
