Pasta Pizza

Someone said that someone on the internet paid me a compliment regarding my organ playing at church.  I’m not sure who you are, but thank you.  I fumble along and I’m glad who-ever-you-were appreciated it.

I decided today to treat the missionaries to a culinary experiment.  (Well, I actually experiment on them all the time.  In fact, every venture in the kitchen is an experiment with me.)  So, I made a pasta pizza.  It goes something like this…

  • A layer of macaroni and cheese on the bottom of a 9×13 baking pan.
    Bake for about 30 minutes.
Top with a bottle of pasta sauce.
Top that with a layer of mozzarella cheese
Follow that with pizza toppings, and return to the oven until the cheese melts and bubbles.

One of the sisters said it was the best pasta casserole she’s ever had.  (Two compliments in one day… someone restrain my head from expanding.)

We love feeding the missionaries.  In fact, whether you are a member of the LDS church or not, these young people are volunteering their time and money.  So, if you see them on the street, invite them in to your home for dinner.
